The list of extra activities that are offered to the pupils is vast and great credit must be given to the staff of the school in providing these activities for the pupils. 

The school is involved is Cumann na mBunscol activities and fields teams in
 football and hurling.  Inter class leagues take place where all pupils get the
opportunity to expierence Gaelic Games.

The choir is now an intergral part of the school and has received great acclaim
 in  achieving very high standards.  The highlights of their activities are
 the school concerts, the regional concert and then the concert in the National
Concert Hall in Dublin.  Preparations are well under way for the concerts in 2003.

The chess league is very popular in the school and gives pupils who do not like
physical activities to have a different leisure activity.

Crab-soccer and outdoor soccer leagues are organised and prove very popular.  Table-Tennis leagues are organised during the school year and add an extra dimension to the school.

Swimming is now well established and is floursing. 
French is available for pupils
who wish to avail of it - for senior classes only.

The Parents�Council have been of enormous help and support to the school.
 They have contributed generously both financially and of their time in
helping the school achieve its aims.
